We have been in residence for two nights. The staff were remarkably attentive, kind, helpful and never missed an opportunity to assist in every way. And they all were cheerful in their work.
The villa and its surroundings and every imaginable piece of art, furniture, pillow, plate, cup, sculpture is so exquisite and beautifully placed. Every day, we emerge from our rooms, stand in awe.
Forever, 20 Middle Street, will remain the piece de resistance of our journey through Sri Lanka.
