Overview

Although completely private, Villa Ahasa and Villa Sulanga have the facility to be joined at certain points, and are located next to Habaraduwa House, which make them ideal for those travelling with large families or groups of friends.

Villa Ahasa and Villa Sulanga were conceived by Channa Daswatte, a renowned Sri Lankan architect who worked with Geoffrey Bawa. For the stylish two-storey design, he took inspiration from colonial railway bungalows located in the North Western and North Central Provinces.

The villas centre around comfortable communal outdoor spaces. A leafy entrance courtyard draws the eye through the open-air dining ambalamas to the ocean. Large, comfortable air-conditioned living rooms, decorated with the help of George Cooper, with antique Chinese furniture sent from Hong Kong, lead onto covered verandahs which overlook the pools. These unique features make our home the perfect place to spend peaceful days with loved ones.

Great care has been taken to recruit a friendly team who really care about the property. The manager, housekeepers and chef, are on hand to ensure that stays here are restful and relaxing.

DEPOSIT POLICY:

A 50% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation, 10% is non-refundable. The balance is to be paid 30 days before arrival
All cancellations must be advised in writing and will take effect the day it is received by The Chatham Collection
The Chatham Collection refuses reserves the right to refuse entry to the property should the number of your party exceed the number stated on the Villa Booking Confirmation

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation period during Summer & Normal Season – 21 days cancellation policy. Bookings cancelled 21 days before arrival, 90% of the deposit is refundable. Cancellations received within 21 days of arrival will incur the full charge
Dates: 1 May – 31 Oct

Cancellation period during Peak Season – 30 days cancellation policy. Bookings cancelled 30 days before arrival, 90% of the deposit is refundable. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will incur the full charge
Dates: 2 Feb – 30 April, 1 Nov – 20 Dec, 7 Jan – 5 Feb, 18 Feb – 30 April,  & 1 Nov – 20 Dec

Cancellation period during Festive Season – All bookings made during these dates will be non-refundable
Dates: 21 Dec – 6 Jan & 6 Feb – 17 Feb

No shows & stays that are cut short incur a 100% cancellation fee on the full villa/room rate for the entire period booked

And any additional fees incurred, i.e, licensing fees, insurance cover, and security approval will be at the expense of the client

Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit payable to secure booking – non-refundable
50% payment 30 days before the event – non-refundable
